New Opportunity for AK State DKG Members!
After discussion with our state president and Beta members, the BESF executive board has opened its Beta Educational Scholarship Foundation to include Conference scholarships. AK DKG members can donate money to BESF, earmarked for Conferences. The amount may be tax deductible. Any AK DKG member may apply to BESF for a scholarship to either AK State, NW Regional, or International Conferences.
This procedure is meant to be an interim way for BESF to assist members. The state executive board will assess the process over the next year and hopes to form an AK State Foundation to continue the scholarships.
